| NürnbergMesse China Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of NürnbergMesse, Germany and chose Shanghai as the operational headquarter of the company. Nürnberg is one of the 15 largest exhibition venues in the world and NürnbergMesse is in the Top Ten in Europe. It is a member of the Association of Major German Exhibition Centres (GDG) and holds 7th place in the German rankings after the exhibition companies in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hanover, Munich, Cologne and Berlin – well ahead of Essen, Stuttgart and Leipzig. The portfolio covers some 70 international exhibitions and congresses at the Nürnberg location and worldwide. 266 persons were employed in the group at the end of June (end of 2007: 254), including 29 apprentices and trainees (end of 2007: 21), and further moderate expansion is planned.
